Privacy Policy

Artifex ("we", "us") is a marketing agency based in New York. We run Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for our clients and provide each client with a live ads dashboard. This policy explains what data our application "Artifex Ops" and our client dashboards (*.artifex.mobi) process and why.

Data we access

Advertising data from Meta, only for ad accounts and Pages whose owners have explicitly given Artifex access (as an agency partner in Meta Business Manager): ad account name, currency and time zone; campaigns, ad sets and ads (names, statuses, budgets, learning status); ad creatives (text and preview images); performance metrics (spend, impressions, reach, clicks, frequency, results such as leads or purchases, and conversion value).
Dashboard sign-in data: email addresses that a client asks us to invite, and technical sign-in records (one-time link and session tokens, stored only as cryptographic hashes).

We do not access personal data of people who see or respond to ads (such as lead form answers), Facebook friends lists, private messages or any data from accounts that have not granted us access.

How we use it

To show each client the performance of their own advertising in their dashboard.
To prepare reports and optimization recommendations for that client.
To manage the client's campaigns, only where the client has asked us to and only with the access level the client granted.

We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising to anyone else, and do not share one client's data with another client. Each client can see only their own data; this is enforced on our servers.

Storage, retention and security

Data is stored in a database on servers we control, accessed over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access tokens are kept in server configuration only and are never shown to users. We keep a client's advertising data while we work with that client and delete it within 90 days after the engagement ends or within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your choices

A client can remove Artifex's access at any time in Meta Business Settings → Partners. To have your data deleted, see Data Deletion.
